Is Boxie24 in my area?
Boxie24 has multiple storage locations. Please check our locations to see if we operate in your city.
How can I contact Boxie24?
You can reach us by telephone, email or chat.
Our operating hours are:
- Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
If you are calling outside our business hours, please leave your number or send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
How much will it cost?
The rent depends on the required storage space and rental duration.
Just select your location and have a look at the prices for the different storage sizes.
From 6 months, we offer 5% discount. From 12 months, 10% discount.
How much storage space do I need?
If you have difficulties figuring out your needed storage space, our experts are happy to help or use our storage space calculator in the footer.
Do I have to be present when collecting or delivering items?
Yes. Boxie24 delivers to you directly. We will send you a confirmation email with the agreed upon date and time and you will receive a text message when our drivers are heading your way.
You or a person representing you (you must provide us with their name and other information) must be at the pick-up address when we collect your property. Our driver will wait for up to 20 minutes. If no one is available at the agreed time, you need to schedule a new appointment and we will charge a cancellation fee.
What can I store?
We provide storage for pretty much everything. However, there are a few exceptions:
- Perishable items
- Hazardous materials
- Illegal substances

Can I get my items back whenever I need them?
Yes, you can always get your items back.
Usually, we can provide delivery within 24 hours. Alternatively, you can also come and pick it up yourself. Just let us know, if you want to have everything back or just a part of it.
Can I continuously enter the storage facility?
You can decide, if you need access to your storage or if you only need our delivery service. If you don't need daily access, we can offer you a cheaper price.
Our experience shows, that many customers overestimate the need of acces. Many customers think, that they might need frequent access, however do not order returns at all or very rarely.
How can I create a reservation?
Just go to 'Locations' at the top of our website and select your city. After choosing a room size, you can send us a non-binding reservation.
Do you charge for reservations?
No, a reservation is free of charge and nonbinding.
After you make a reservation, a Boxie24 representative will contact you as soon as possible. If you make a reservation outside our working hours, we will contact your the following day.
How can I change my reservation?
You can always edit the details of your reservation afterwards, for example the storage duration or the room size. Just contact us via E-Mail on email@example.com or give us a call.
How do I cancel a reservation?
Just send us an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with your reservation number and we will cancel your reservation free of charge.
Why do you need my address?
For a correct invoice, we need a valid invoice address. For the pickup or return delivery we need the address, where the job takes place. Please also let us know any specific information our drivers should know (e.g. other name on the bell, rear house,...)
Can I change the delivery date?
Yes. Just contact us and we'll arrange a new date for the delivery free of charge. However, for late cancellations of <2 days before the appointment we have to charge a cancellation fee
Contract and payment
How is billing handled?
You always pay for your booked services on a monthly basis. Your first payment is due on the same day as your move-in day. Later invoice dates depend on the payment method:
- If you transfer the money, the following invoice is due 30 days after rental start
- If you choose another payment method, the following invoice will be due always at the 1st of each month
- If you booked additional products (e.g. moving boxes), we will add this to your first onvoice
What's the minimum rental period at Boxie24?
We have a three month minimum stay period. You can still request a full delivery of your items anywhere before the end of your stay. However, we will have to invoice you for the minimum term.
When and how can I cancel my storage space?
After the minimum storage period of 3 months, you can cancel your contract at the end of each month. Just send us an email to email@example.com. Of course, you can always get your stored items back before the cancellation date.
Do you charge per month or per week?
All our prices are for a period of 30 days after your move-in date. This means that you will be billed per month from the day you move in with us.
Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express) and SEPA credit transfers. Maestro, V PAY, SOFORT and PayPal in most countries.
Do I need to purchase additional insurance?
All of our customers are covered within our basic insurance. This covers value up to 0,65€ per KG of stored items. If you want to purchase additional insurance, you can choose one of our optional insurance packages. These are 10€ per month for a value of up to 1.000,00€ or 15€ a month for a value of up to 2.000,00 €.
In many cases, you are also covered within your household insurance.

Is the storage facility secured against theft?
Yes, our storage facilities are protected against theft. All our storage locations are under control of 24/7 alarmsystem as well as authorized security personnel.
Is my storage space safe against cold temperatures and humidity?
All our storage facilities are climate controlled to ensure dry and safe storage - also for sensitive materials.
Are my items insured?
All of our customers are covered within our basic insurance. This covers value up to 0,65€ per KG of stored items. If you want to purchase additional insurance, you can choose one of our optional insurance packages. These are 10€ per month for a value of up to 1.000,00€ or 15€ a month for a value of up to 2.000,00 €. In some cases, you are also covered within your household insurance.
How can I save space?
Furniture takes up a lot of space and can be difficult to store. We advise you to take the furniture apart as much as possible. Connect single parts or pieces of furniture with a tape to carryable units. Make sure you save screws and other small items in a bag and store the bag together with the furniture
How can I store frequently used items in a clever way?
Items that you might need more frequently should be packed at the very end. They will be placed at the very top or the very front of your unit and will be easily accessible if you need them.
How can I make sure that I can easily locate my packed items?
In order to easily find what you are looking for, mark all your boxes. Include the room where the content of the box belongs (e.g. bedroom) and a detailed list of items.
How can I pack my items in a safe way?
Just use stable boxes, which can be stapled securly.
Fragile items like glas, dishes, or similar should be packed individually in bubble wrap or packing paper and put into secure boxes. If there is free space within these boxes, you can use newspaperr or towels to secure it.
Do you offer archival storage?
Yes, Boxie24 offers multiple archive storage solutions. If you want, we can also deliver our convenient and robust boxes. So, you can store your archive easy and secure. If you don't need the archival storage anymore, we deliver it back to you or we destroy it according the data protection act and DIN66399.
Why type of businesses can rent a storage?
All types of businesses can rent storage space from Boxie24. Our business customers are large corporations, as well as small or medium sized companies.

Can Boxie24’s boxes be closed thoroughly?
Yes, our boxes can be locked with tie wraps or your own lock.
How can I rent moving boxes?
- You order the desired amount of moving boxes
- We deliver the boxes free of charge
- You use the boxes for your move
- We will pick up the empty boxes
Just order online or via phone the desired amount of moving boxes.
What are the dimensions and the maximum allowed item weight to store?
Our boxes have a measurement of 60 x 40 x 37 cm and fit 67 liter.
What makes the green moving boxes eco-friendly?
Our green boxes are made from recycled plastic and can be used up to 500 times. Rather than throwing them away after using them once (like traditional cardboard boxes), we clean them and send them to the next customer.
What can I see or do in my online account?
Your account allows to control your storage space.
Among others, you can view all your invoices or change your payment details.
I forgot my password! How do I get a new one?
Click the ’Forgot your password?’ button on our login page and we will send you an email containing a link to reset your password. If this doesn't work or when you need additional assistance, please send us an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call on our free hotline.
